I have currently completed in excess of two hundred ‘leaky’ home assessments for the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services, including attending numerous mediations as an impartial, expert witness.
I have also carry out numerous weathertightness investigations of commercial buildings, predominantly early childhood centers and retirement villages.
I have experience from the practical reality of a building site through to the building control regime, and including the owners’ expectations of the building process.
I have attended specialized training courses run by the Institute of Building Surveyors on appropriate design and repair methods for remediation ‘leaky buildings’
